Course Description:

The First Responder - Management of Radiation Accidents and Incidents course is a 3- hour awareness program provided for firefighters, law enforcement personnel, security personnel, industrial personnel and any other First-Responder who may be the first to respond to the scene of a radiation accident or incident. The course provides the student with a basic awareness of the concepts, skills, response protocols, personal safety issues (including exposure reduction) required for responding to and arriving at the scene of a radiological event. The course instructor is a nationally experienced lecturer, author and federal government contractor who will provide material in a lecture format. (Note: This course has been provided to organizations throughout the US).
