Course Description:
The Hospital – Nuclear, Biological,
and Chemical Preparedness course is a 6-hour
comprehensive program provided for nurses,
physicians and other medical personnel who
are involved with the day-to-day operation
of an emergency department, specifically
patient care. The course provides the student
with an examination of the issues, regulations,
concepts, and skills associated with planning,
preparing for, and managing patients contaminated
with and/or exposed to nuclear, biological,
and chemical agents, including multiple
casualties. The course instructor is a nationally
experienced lecturer, author and federal
government contractor who will provide material
in a lecture format as well as through practice
and demonstration of skills and techniques.

hospitals throughout the US and Canada).
